As medical education providers, the first priority for VIVA and The VEINS is to maintain a safe environment for attendees, exhibitors, and staff. To that end, VIVA and The VEINS 2021 will require that all participants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to attend the event in person.
All registrants will be required to attest that they are fully vaccinated, meaning they have received their final dose of the vaccine at least 14 days prior to the meetings (no later than Sunday, September 19). Those registered as industry professionals will be required to upload proof of vaccination during the registration process, and those using interchangeable exhibitor badges will be required to show proof of vaccination each time they enter the event space.
Those who have already registered for the conference will be contacted via email to attest that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Additionally, in accordance with local guidelines, all participants must wear masks in all indoor conference spaces unless you are actively eating or drinking.
We will continue to monitor CDC and local recommendations to ensure the safest event possible.
